The republic of Cameroon is situated in central Africa. The country is called "Africa in miniature" for its geological and cultural diversity. Natural features include beaches, deserts, mountains, rainforests, and savannas. Its largest city are Yaoundé, Douala and Gaoura. It has over 200 different linguistic group and his main language are English and French. Cameroon has a landscape of 181 251 sq mi covering a population of 20 129 878 and a water area of 1.3%. Geographically it is said Cameroon has enough to for its people. Cameroonian main source of water is Snec. Snec is the company that provides water to the entire country.
It’s been a very long time now that clean drinking water has been a problem in Cameroon. The problem has been everywhere in the cities including major cities and villages. In some villages they drink water from stream and lake, which is really, bad cause people use the same water to watch clothes, urine, throw waste and pupu. There are a lot of rivers and lake but people really miss used it, which brings the problem of clean drinking water. Other people drink water from wells which at a certain point when is not well treated it cant be good for drinking. Even water that comes out of the Snec Company is not really clean. Sometimes they will cut off water for weeks because a dead body was found in their drain or they have not clean the water. All this real fact affects the water in Cameroon. Now Snec it trying it best to come out with good clean water but still the water is not very good for drinking.
