Important Academic Integrity
The video title “What is so Important Academic Integrity”, has an objective to reveal the meaning of this group of ethics. Let’s caption that Academic Integrity is a group of moral code or norms to follow to have an honesty, equity, and responsible environment. At the annual Academic Integrity Conference, participants were interviewed about what Academic Integrity was, and there were few issues about the content of the video at the end at the same time positive points on it. First, as the name of the conference high light the main reason of the meeting, few assistants or participants have a clear definition of what Academic Integrity is. First one, it is important to recall how essential is to be honest in our academic cycle; creating a conference with focus on Academic integrity. During our academic trajectory, we have to pass for several examples where our integrity is taste for several circumstances, but I think there are more solutions outside of our hand without put our values or rectitude at risk. Second, each professor mentioned that they practice Academic Integrity in their classes, and that is great for student to have support when something is going wrong, and the same time is as a prevention to mark this rules or norms. For example, when somebody take a project or steel a book from another student is ideal that have somebody to control this issue and avoid more conflicts. Third, but not least. The meaning of Academic integrity. Each student must read and understand some norms of integrity and discipline at the beginning of each class, so nobody can say that they do not know about integrity, but it is essential to have a better or clear definition of what is Academic integrity according this video: “Academic Integrity is self-respect, trust, fairness, respect, honesty, discipline, and responsibility. We need this values and beliefs because integrity is fundamental to have a culture with a better degree of respect to benefit our society at
