Importance Of Memorral Cats In Kaka Ako Waterfront Park
Although seldom seen during the day, feral cats can be seen freely wandering the neighborhood at night. Also, the smell of animal feces is evident in the various areas of the Kaka'ako Waterfront Park.
There is no wheelchair ramp on this sidewalk located on the corner of Kamani Street and Queen Street. The pedestrian access to the sidewalk is blocked by a street sign, and by an electrical pole guy anchor wire. Also note the uneven pavement (white patch) on the crosswalk, a tripping hazard for pedestrians.
With heavy rain and lack of drainage system, flooding often occurs in the business district of Kaka'ako. Heavy rain also causes sewage to back up, leaving an unpleasant smell in the neighborhood. This poor drainage situation also serves as
