Impaired driving is the when someone operates a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs to the point that mental and motor skills are impaired. It is against the law in Canada, and breaks many laws in the Criminal Code of Canada, and can also result suspension of driver’s licenses. Driving while impaired is a very irresponsible act because it is very well know of how dangerous it causing 1,250 and 1,500 deaths per year and 64,000 injuries with lots of documented history on it and a lot of awareness videos all over T.V and the internet.
