Describes the old man’s eye as resembling one that a vulture might have, the narrator states, “Object there was none. Passion there was none. I love the old man. He had never wronged me. ... I think it was his eye! Yes, it was this. One if his eyes resembled that of vulture – a pale blue eye, with a film over it. Whenever it fell upon me my blood rain cold.” (Poe, Page 440).
