If I Can Change the World
If I could change the world, money, the axis of evil, will not be the center of everything. It will just be a part of life, not the criterion of man's success in life. People will stop killing each other for money; people will stop defrauding others of their money. If I could change the world, money will stop its reign as king over man's soul.
In Saudi Arabia, Women, dressed in black from head to toe with only their eyes sticking out, were moving about busily.
If I could change the world, women will be given the same rights as men. Why do these men think that they are the gods of this land? Women in other countries have proved that they could emulate men; don't these women have the same potential? If I could change the world, these women will definitely be free to show off all their talents for this country's own benefit. "To Israel, please," I replied, remembering the suicide attacks I've heard of so many times. We were greeted by a gunshot which miraculously passed through us but hit a man behind us who immediately fell to the ground, which was already wet with fresh blood. If I could change the world, there will be no wars. Look at that man over there," I said, pointing to someone who was frantically holding the dying man who was shot upon our arrival. "He can tell you about the helpless feeling of holding a dying friend in his arms, feeling the life flowing out and not being able to do anything about it. What will happen to that dying man's family? If he is the breadwinner of the family, how will the rest of his family survive? If he is the only son of an old mother, how many sleepless nights will the mother spend weeping for her lost son? If I could change the world, nations will learn to forgive and forget each other's mistakes. Nations will learn to respect each other's religion, culture and perspectives. Leaders of nations will not hunt for reasons to harm and to attack, but will search for ways to help and to cooperate for a better

If the World was a perfect place, everyone would get along and grow together. But nothing is perfect. I’m hear to say that the World won’t last much longer, unless we can learn to bridge together. Learn to compromise, learn to understand, learn to build without destruction first. It’s a misconception that only one can be the best. What makes someone the “best” is their ability to accept counsel from others, and to use that advice to further themselves. Once everyone learns this, then we can start to strengthen as a…

As constantly seen throughout history, women have been battling and questioning society’s standard so they can be seen as individuals rather than a lesser being in comparison to men. These civil liberties of owning property and having the right to vote prolongs further than that. Women want to be seen in the same degree as men when it comes down having an education, a place in office, being in a predominantly male workforce, and the right to manage their reproductive lives. The fight for women's rights even extends to modern day with the rise of feminism and the demand that men and women should be considered equal in any social, political, and economic entities.…

Just recently the ban on women fighting on the front lines was lifted, but our country still has some progress to make. According to www.whitehouse.gov, American women only make 78 cents for every dollar a man makes. It might seem like a measly 22 cents, but that number snowballs into a large amount fast. As a young woman, I feel just as capable as any boy, and I don't think I'm alone in that mindset. Gender equality would mean women being valued the same as male counterparts and children growing up viewing the other gender as…

By figuring out what unites women as a whole, could change the future and set equality in motion. Hillary Clinton explained “However different we may be, there is more that unites us then divides us” (“Women’s Rights Are Human Rights”). Equality is something America has never seen before and has been ignored for many years but is in the near future. Women should be valued, respected and acknowledged just as it says in the First Amendment. Hillary Clinton exclaimed “We are here to find common ground so that we may bring new dignity and respect women and girls all over the world” (“Women’s Rights Are Human Rights”). Women aren’t given as many opportunities as men and its time people start finding shared preferences and work together as one. Women are pushing for equality due to men being given preferential treatment both in past and present societies. “The future of the translantic relationship lies in confronting the changes of the twenty-first century” says John (McCain). In order for the world to progress not only as one but equally, women need to be viewed the same as men. Women should not have to feel inferior just because of their biological differences to men and their voices should be heard with the same respect that is given to…

To start with, Ordinary people can change the world with extraordinary ways, and for most of those people change the world with their words, not their fists. To illustrate my point, we fight wars to keep peace, but do we ever wonder what would it be like if instead of fighting those wars, we can sit down and explain why we are mad at a certain country. On the other hand, people use their words to show us our mistakes that we do in life and that the society thinks it is correct to do. For example, Prince EA is a leader that sees the world in a different way that most of people don’t want to see it. To support my opinion, Prince EA once said, “Call me crazy, but I imagine a world where we smile when we have low batteries, because that will mean…
