Discuss the arguments for and against keeping pets. To what extent do you agree?
Task
Keeping pets has been very popular all over the world. Many people consider pets as an important part of their lives; however, others think that it is a waste of money and attention to spend on pets while there are thousands of people starving in the world. These two ideas are not absolutely right or wrong; therefore, we should take some evidences to find the correct answer. For many years, it is undeniable that keeping animals benefits people very much. Not a small number of people consider theirs pets as family members. They can play games with a dog, roar with a cat and sing with a parrot. Besides, pets are not only for entertainment , they contribute a lot to help the disable. For example, a dog can help the blind the right direction. Especially, pets are necessary friends for mental disorder patience because these patience need to be heard and understood truthfully. In addition to this, we keep pet and we prevent them from be hunting; as a result, it reduces the danger of animal extinction. In the contrary, many argue that keeping pets take too much money and this money should be used for the poor and the starved. It is not false because while the rich live in the high living standard, the poor does not have chances to do, so the money that the rich spend for pets is not as reasonable as the money spent for the poor. Another reason for the debates is that there are more and more people died of starving in the world recently because they lack of food and water, they are facing the death while many pets live in a comfortable ways. It has raised a question about our behavior between keeping pets and saving the poor. In my opinion, two ideas are correct to some extend. Money that we spend pets is not a waste because pets are valuable
