Visualize a student who is given the opportunity to attend school. The journey towards receiving a diploma is a long process of development, essays, homeworks, projects, and it requires a consistent attendance. It is a task that entails commitment and determination, just like Brenda Almond’s, the author of Exploring Philosophy, description of philosopher’s commitment to truth and virtue (Philosophy: Q&T, p.5). But amidst all the difficulties, knowledge is liberating. One can feel his hands being slowly released from the chains which disabled the person to be free. However, the lessons being studied may lead to more questions rather than enlightening. With all the distractions at home or from friends, education for a student can be difficult and it may lead to confidence deprivation. Imagine yourself troubled finishing an essay for school and one day you see youths smoking pot outside the mall. It is a large crowd and everybody is laughing at someone’s lame joke. Would you trade your education for their innocence and shallow pleasure? As Voltaire describes in the story of The Good Brahman, ignorance may be bliss but no person would want to be part of such happiness (Philosophy: Q&T, p.27). Therefore, as a student who is granted with free education, you might as well do your best to be knowledgeable and you shall be one step closer to reality.…

Education is a systematic effort to provide students with new ways of thinking. For the purposes of this essay, the term students refers to any person for whom education is provided, whether it is formal or informal and whether the student is responsive or not. For example, when a person is in a history class and sees the Civil War from a new perspective, that is education. When a senior citizen decides to take a photography class and notices that apples are not simply red but have flecks of brown…

The definition of a student is an individual who works hard and encourages himself and other people to think about bigger goals, ideas, and experiences that will influence them to finish any task at any school or University. Although, what matters the most is the way a student is committed to complete his mission of being a successful in the world of education. I believe the only duty of a young teenager or adult is to attend school because there is no such thing in the world that will help you more than school, I can relate to this from my personal life because I have seen a lot of my friends succeed from College and moving on to the professional work field. A real student feels like their only job and concern is to attend school and make sure they are learning the material they need to master in order to move on to the next level. I also believe a student is willing to sacrifice his/her own free time in order to finish school work, for example, as an adult nobody is forcing you go to school, it is your choice to get an education and by doing that it shows commitment to your future.…

There are several forms of inequality that can be found in education field. Learners maybe treated differently because of their "race, gender , social background ,age, religion and class " (Schniedewind & Daivdson, 1998,p.1). If we take a deeper look into what equality actually applies then it 's :all learners should be "treated fairly" and "respected despite their diversity" .and most important that all have the same "equal opportunities" (Schniedewind & Daivdson, 1998,p.1) .The question of how this could be applied in the school community leads us to discover how hard it is to assure equality for all learners, considering that most –if not all- types of inequality and social injustice are implied and may happen "unintentionally". For that, I chose to go deeper in one of the unspoken about forms of inequality which is classism. Trying to uncover some of the claims -as I see it-, and presenting what I do agree it is true in Bahrain. Later on, I will go through some of the programs by the ministry of education in cooperation with schools, in order to close the class gap between students .…

By definition, studying is the devotion of time and attention to acquiring knowledge on an academic subject, especially by means of books. Studying first begins with simply paying attention in class. Studying is not always as fun as people wish. Sitting down in the chair of a library or at your desk at home for hours is not considered to be fun by most people; some would consider studying yet another boring chore, however, studying is imperative for the advancement of one’s education. My mother would always tell me a saying her mother would always tell her, “Sometimes you have to do what you don’t want to do to get to where you want to be.” Those are the exact words I remember every time I go to school and every time I sit down to study.…
