Human Service Reflection Paper
The second goal stated that human service students will possess and be able to apply beginning human service skills. As human service major, we were taught the correct skills to better understand individuals within a social context. These skills consist of proper way to write social histories, communication skills, group work or case work, active listening, find resources for others, and conduct counseling sessions. As human service major, I acquired these skills from studying here in Gwynedd Mercy University for three years. Dr. Luquet taught us how to write properly an individual’s social history. Social history assessment is a document of social details of the past and current life experience of the person, and marks the start of most
