Normally, the meaning of the international expansion is typically identified with the field of the business, international expansion is also international diversity, mode of business sector section, innovation learning and performance.It is when organizations choose to extend out of the nation. It provides them for the opportunity to develop and succeed and snatch further piece of the pie with their item as they go over the outskirts of the nations. At the same time, international Expansion brings more and more opportunities to the company , but it also needs to face many difficult problems. 2-1 Advantages of total quality management
One of the advantage is can reduce production costs. As the fast development of the enterprise, it means the situation of the waste will appear. For example: raw material waste and so on. The total quality management strategy dispenses with imperfections and waste which reduce the cost of production in a business. As the team assemble to recognize and erase weakness in the business, the company can reduce the all accepts of the costs and gain more and more profits. Total quality management improvement groups can eliminate disadvantages, saving the lead time, the profits of the company can be increased rapidly. 2-2 Advantages of international expansion
International expansion has became more and more popular. International expansion. Nowadays, more and more companies expand their business to other countries. For example , Apple company build their factories at the developing country. Because developing countries’ labor cost is low relatively,land cost, raw material, taxes cost and so on . All of these are low relatively. As we all know, in the developed country, the labor cost is very high, but in developing country, because of large population like China, Vietnam, India, in all of these countries, the labor cost is relatively low, the company only need to pay low salary compare with other developed countries. According to the market research, the most of developed countries’s per capita nation income is about 40,000- 50,000 dollars. But the most developing countries’ per capita at 1000-2500 dollars, some undeveloped country even more lower. Not only labor cost is low, but also land cost is low. India, China, Malaysia have rich land resources. 3-1 Challenge of total quality management
Total quality management goods for company, at the same time, there are also many issues and challenges to face. The biggest problem is the quality of the product. Controlling the quality of the product is the highest challenge. Because if you want to ensure the product quality, company must be pay more attention on the step of purchasing raw materials and supplying. During the process of purchasing , maybe some employees will use some informal ways buy any quality problems raw materials. So the company should set the strict rules. After making sure the quality of raw material. There are many examples: in china, every one know that San Lu company, mainly engaged milk powder. In the past, San Lu is the biggest milk powder manufacturers and the sales volume is always No.1 in China, in 2008 year, San Lu milk powder was checked quality issues. After that, the San Lu milk powder went bankrupt. Product quality is the biggest challenge process of the total quality and it is also the most important process. 3-2 Challenge of international expansion
An international company develop their company all over the world, withe the development, they also need to overcome different types of challenges. Culture consideration plays an important role in the international expansion strategy and it is also a big challenge . Actually, managing the cultural connotation of the international expansion is a non-negotiable part for the success. Organizations that get to holds with cross-cultural communication are the best set to use the imparted data and experience to enhance their competitive position at the home and abord. They are also likewise much better prepared to convey their long-term business targets. It is very important to appreciate and absorb the unpretentious contrasts in verbal or non-verb communications cross cultures. Language maybe is the smallest issue that international manager to face. If consumers misconstructed, even almost imperceptibly subtle differences, eyes contact, tone, humour and any other things are all have the potential to offend, it even be destroyed if it not deal in time. The self of business culture is also widely, with the major errors among the countries on attitudes to challenge. International company always hire the employees all over the world. These employees come from the different countries, they have different working style, different concepts. So the company should try their best to make employees blend in the enterprise cultural. 4. For example, in the strategy of total quality management, there are advantages and challenges, total quality management is the core concept of a company. Total quality management not only including many parts: technological quality and so on. In the nowadays, consumers pay more attention on the quality management, enterprise also should pay more attention on quality management, enterprise also should provide the best and most safety to the consumers. The international expansion of an enterprise’s business activities into other countries in many regions throughout the world. The company expand their business is very difficult, during these process, company should overcome many difficulties, like regions, cross cultural, local policy and so on.
