For an individual to master a behavior, him or her must repeat the behavior hat him or her is trying to learn. Argued that people learn from one another by observation, imitation, ad modeling. Also believed environment factors can causes certain behaviors and vice versa. Argued children moral development comes from a more indirect process such as observational learning.
Freud Argued how children go through various sexual development sage such as: Oral, Anal, Phallic, Latency, and Genital. Believed that personality developed though a series of childhood stages. Also mentioned how children development personality by the age of 5. Argued behavior is controlled by unconscious urges consisting of 3 components of the mind: the id, ego, and superego. Freud believed that children felt no guilt until they reached their Superego stage. (age 5-7)

Bronfenbrenner Believed in ecological systems theory. The theory explain how everything in a child's environment affects how a child grows and develops. A child’s environment influences a child’s development throught these 3 systems:

Kohlberg His theoretical emphasis is on how one decides to respond to a moral dilemma, not what one decides or what one does. He formed 6 stages in which he shortens in 3 general levels of moral development and they are the following: Preconventional level, Conventional level and Postconventional/ Principled level.
Eisenberg Believed that children could reason in more than one ways and level.
Aronfeed Children gain their understanding of morality through a form of social conditioning.
