This has influenced me to learn more about my wife’s religion. Before I really never had any interest in her beliefs nor did I bother to ask the importance of my sons baptism, I simply disagreed. I felt that everyone is and should be entitled to make up their own minds when thinking about religion and that a child should not just have one thrown on them. However after conduction the interview I have learned that religion is or can be just as much

I know that we have all seen Mormons on the side of the road riding bikes in suits and knocking on doors to spread the word of their religion. Have you ever answered the door? A worldview is a set of beliefs, values, and attitudes that enable us to process new information and maintain a consistent view of reality. Through our worldview we apply the standards that allow us to make connections between what we know, what we experience, and what new knowledge claims we encounter. Our worldview supplies the interpretive framework for understanding our experiences and the events of the world, and it provides the values that form the basis for decision making. Because faith-learning integration is closely linked with judgments about what is or is not knowledge, our worldview is therefore clearly crucial to the proper functioning of faith and learning integration. Successful faith-learning integration is impossible for students who lack a clear and well defined Biblical worldview. The unity of truth—including academic and Biblical or theological truth—is at the heart of integration.…

His mother cannot speak English after living here for a long time. I never knew the answer till I read this Chapter. Every parent wants their child to receive the best educational experience in their public schools. Subjects such as math, science, and English are never in question. However, a more controversial subject such as world religions has been debated in America for several years? This subject is seldom seen in a public schools curriculum. The teaching of world religions in public schools helps students to understand political affairs, helps them to know the history of their religion and that of others, and helps to properly teach the history and growth of civilizations.…
