Would you rather have a loved one that is an alcoholic or one that smoked marijuana? Marijuana has been around since 1930 and even then it was illegal. We have been getting stoned since then for medical reason or just for the fun of it. That smoking marijuana can be good for your health. With the recreational use of marijuana and that means people will be able to go to shop that sell it and be able to buy it for any use that they have.Then go home or wherever and smoke it freely do not have to worry about getting trouble. With the other four states that have it legal to smoke. Nothing bad has happened so far. Because marijuana has a calming effect about it where you are just basically in a relaxed state. Where you won’t want to do anything really. Unlike alcohol where it can make you aggressive to the point where you want to hurt someone or do something stupid like drinking and driving and that can land you a DUI. Drinking leads to more DUI than smoking marijuana does. According to Alap Naik Desai on the INQUISITR News worth sharing “ Homicides went down to seventeen to eight, a massive fifty-three percent drop.” If homicides rates can drop that much or decreased at all think about the other crimes that would decrease as well like DUI, robberies, petty crimes. With people being in such a calm state of mind they will be less likely going to do anything. People who are high are so calm that they will be lazy and slow with everything the do. The decreases with all the crimes will make it safer place to be. Wouldn't you want a place where people are high and less likely to do anything to you? We will see a decrease in death by alcohol because people will find the same pleasure in smoking so they will be safer. Because some people like to wake up without any hangovers and won’t be damaging their bodies too much. Maybe the death count will drop. When deaths decrease so will the crimes like DUI, angry rampages, black markets. With your loved one you will worry less about them getting marijuana that has been laced with something that could hurt them. You will be in more control over the weed and
