Option 2: Creating a Job Posting for Your Small Business

Abstract

Currently the Wind River Casino is under expansion, it is added a 90 room hotel to the company and I have been hired on as the Hotel General Manager. I interviewed our companies CEO to get some insight as to his expectations of the job descriptions that I have been asked to create. I asked the questions as follows... • How and when would you determine the need to create a job position within your business? • What strategy would use to outline the position’s details? • What would the duties be? • What would the performance requirements for the position be? • What preexisting knowledge and skills would be required for the …show more content…
The other job positions that will be available that I will need to create job descriptions for as well will be Front Desk Staff, the Room Sales Representatives, a Concierge, and also housekeeping. Since our location is fairly small our maintence department and security will just be expanding to better suit the needs of the hotel.
