Foreword
To mark the 10th anniversary of its biannual World Congress last year, the World Federation of Personnel Management Associations (WFPMA) commissioned a survey, undertaken on its behalf by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), on the current HR challenges faced by HR professionals three years ago, what those issues are today and what they believe they will be three years from now. management associations in their contacts with world organisations such as ILO, UNESCO, the UN, etc. 5 To commission or undertake research which will further broaden understanding of personnel issues.
