How to Properly Wash Your Hands
How do your hands feel today?
Outcome Statement: To inform my audience on the importance of how to properly wash your hands.
Thesis Statement: The spread of many germs and viruses can be reduced by hand washing with soap and water. Hand washing is important because it can help protect from many diseases, if you properly wash your hands this will cut down on the spreading of germs and viruses and in turn make the world a healthier place.

Introduction I. II. Thesis Statement/Preview Combined: Hand washing is important, why should you wash your hands, when should you wash your hands and how to properly wash your hands. III. Credibility: Through my research about my topic and my personal experience of working in a nursing home, I know how important it is to know how to wash your hands properly.

Hand washing is define as the act of cleansing the hands with water or other liquid, with or without the inclusion of soap, or other detergent, for the purpose of removing soil or microorganisms, according to biology- online.org A. There are many reason to wash your hands 1. After using the bathroom 2. After blowing nose, sneezing, or coughing 3. Before eating or handling food 4. After handling uncooked meat 5. After taking out the trash 6. After changing a diaper 7. After handling money B. When washing hands these days there are different types instead of the usual warm water and soap, you’re not always going to have soap and water so Germ-X was created by the Vi-Jon Laboratories to clean your hands on the go.
