How to Manage Time in Summer Holidays
How to Manage Time during the Summer Holidays?
Summer is around the corner! This is the greatest time in the whole year----we finally get out of school and unload our homework burden! However, this is also a time when most of us break the routine we follow during school days. Most of us would stay up late, because we are free from alarm clocks and we might naturally become a slug. So how can we not get caught in this situation? This is where good time management can help us out. First, we should join a summer program. This could help us get up early every day and prevent us from becoming “couch potatoes”. There are a variety of choices in summer program, from art to music, from academics to sports. Most important of all, we could expand our horizons and meet new friends. Besides a summer program, we should consider studying during our spare time. Since we often forget what we have learned over the long summer break, we should keep studying even during the summer. We could review notes and worksheets from last year. This will pay off in our future, because the knowledge we acquire today is valuable for not only school exams, but for our whole lifetime. Secondly, we don’t need to cram right before real tests because we have been reviewing on a regular basis. What about fun activities you ask? Well, good time management also means having a well balance schedule. On weekends, we should get outside and enjoy ourselves. This does not mean we stay at home playing video games the whole day, however. Playing too much video game would cause both physical and mental health problems-----our vision would get impaired, we would probably become nearsighted. This might lose you an opportunity of finding a good job, like pilot. We would become disconnected real world too. We would be ignorant about ourselves, our community, and our society. We would not know anything, except for games. Instead of playing games, we could check out some amazing places in

    1. Build productive routines: Most productive scholars will tell you that they have set times and routines for their work. Some write every morning for several hours. Others set aside certain days of the week for their research. If you establish fixed times for tasks, you are less likely to doublebook or to shirk a responsibility. So, just as you call your sister every Thursday or walk the dog at noon everyday, set times for the lab, the library, or lecture prep at a regular time and day. Where you can, make your routines work with your natural rhythms: if you are a morning person, you might set time for writing from 7-9 am every day. Scheduling work that is frustrating or tedious for the afternoon,…

First of all, a student can begin simply by getting to class on time. For example, he should make preparations the night before, such as ironing his garments on the night before class. This will save him at least five to ten minutes in the morning, and he may use that extra time to prepare for the day. He also should put gasoline in his vehicle after he runs his final errand for the day. This simple task will prevent him from having to wait for an available pump at the gas station in the morning and not rushing to buy gas at the last minute to go to school. Next, one should purchase an alarm clock if he does not already own one and buy batteries. He must later set this clock two hours before his first class is scheduled to begin. He should set his alarm to wake him with the loud beeping sound rather than the sound of soothing music; he must also resist the urge to hit the snooze button, which could cause him to be late for…
