How to make Apple Cinnamon Cookies I. Introduction
Think about to when you were little. Do you remember the smell that spread throughout your house while the cookies were baking in the oven? Well today I am going to show you how to make one of my favorite cookies that I used to help my mom bake when I was a little girl; I am going to show you how to make Apple Cinnamon Cookies. This desert involves approximately 6 materials, 11 ingredients and 8 easy steps. First I will go over all the materials, then all the ingredients and last I will guide you through the 8 easy steps of making your own apple cinnamon cookies.
Transition: Let us start with the first step which is preparing the materials. II. Body A. Materials: To make apple cinnamon cookies, you will need the following materials: 1. Mixing bowl 2. Mixing spoon 3. Measuring cup 4. Measuring spoons 5. Teaspoon 6. Baking Sheet
Transition: Now that we know the materials needed, second step is getting the ingredients. B. Ingredients: You will need the following ingredients: 1. 2 cups flour 2. 1 teaspoon salt 3. 1 teaspoon baking soda 4. ½ cup light brown sugar, packed 5. 1 teaspoon cinnamon 6. ¼ teaspoon nutmeg 7. ½ cup butter, softened 8. 1 egg 9. 2 tablespoons sour cream 10. ¼ cup apple juice 11. 2-3 apples, graded
Transition: Now that we have our ingredients and materials lets get to baking. C. Directions 1. Preheat Oven to 400 degrees 2. Cream together the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until light in color 3. Add egg, sour cream and apple juice; stir to combine 4. Add remaining ingredients: flour, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg, except apples; stir until combined. 5. Gently fold in the apples. 6. Drop spoonful cookie dough on baking sheet about 2 inches apart and place the baking sheet in the oven. 7. Bake for 10 – 12 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean 8. Remove cookies
