Install & Configure Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition
Configuration
Change the computer name of the server computer to a suitable, convenient name.
Give your server a static IPv4 address.
Turn on File and Printer sharing
Turn on Remote Desktop
Disable IE enhanced security configuration.
Install Active Directory Services and using advanced mode installation of dcpromo, create a new domain in a new forest.
Install Web Server (IIS) role (add all web server features) and Application Server role including .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.
Make sure to add the following role services and features as well:
TCP Port Sharing
HTTP Activation
Message Queuing Activation
TCP Activation
Named Pipes Activation
Create the following administrative and service accounts in the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in (dsa.msc)
Account Type
Account name(examples)
SQL Server Service sqlSvcAcc Setup Administrator setupAdmin Farm Account
