How To Describe Louis Chapman
Luis Munoz
September 27, 2010

I was born in Chicago, IL on December 26, 1992. I have lived in Cicero for almost all of my seventeen years, and I have attended public schools since kindergarten. I enjoy listening and playing music, mostly Christian rock and worship music. Some of my favorite bands are Hillsong United, David Crowder Band, Newsboys, and Steven Curtis Chapman. This past week I was able to go to the All-State Arena to see David Crowder and Steven Curtis Chapman live in concert. I also enjoy playing music and I hope that someday I will have a future in music or as an Evangelist. I’m planning on a four year Christian college; however I still don’t know which one I will attend.

The worries of colleges and universities start to come during high school years. In my case, I am barely a sophomore and I am already worried about which colleges or universities I want to go to. For now, I have chosen University of Riverside and California State University Dominguez Hills, because I know that I will be close to my home and family. I don’t know if by two years I’ll still want one of those universities, but I do think they are a good option. These two universities have a few similarities and many differences, starting from the weather to admission requirements and differ on anything else.…

Where I wanted to go to college, was a question that loomed over my head for most junior year and the summer before senior year. Deciding where you want to go to college is a major milestone decision, one which I carefully thought over. I knew I wanted to attend a liberal arts college, because I believe the mind is a garden that requires cultivation. I knew I wanted to be in an environment that really pushed me to think conceptually and without censor. When Brandeis University, in Waltham, Massachusetts, came up in my college search, I was immediately intrigued. Brandeis has a long history of promoting social justice and giving back to the community, so I was delighted when I got my acceptance letter in February!…
