Trayvon Martin Medical Examiner Fired
“Shiping Bao, the medical examiner who changed his mind on crucial aspects during his testimony at George Zimmerman's trial, has been fired.
But he's not going down without a fight.
Bao has hired a lawyer and is hinting at a lawsuit.”
I disagree with the editorial I do because I feel like the only reason why his examiner was fired is because the seriousness of the case an the publicity it brung. I feel like in the case it was a regular case he wouldn’t have been fired. Just because there was a simple mind change during the case does not give them the right to fire him. Telling Shiping Bao to resign was unnecessary an he should file for a law suit. Cavaliers big man is far bigger this offseason, which is remarkable considering he ended last season at a svelte 238 pounds.

Per the report, the 7-footer suffered from the flu to close out the 2012-13 season, dropping him to just under 240 when he was used to playing at around 250 pounds.

Well, he lived the dream for a spell and ate anything he wanted, including delicious Krispy Kreme donuts. Apparently he once ate 10 in one sitting. "They're so good. If you get them hot...I ate about six in probably 10 minutes, maybe less."
I do agree with the article I agree because if you look at the health facts on the products of krispy kreme donuts it does contain a lot of fat. These fats are not good for your body because they mostly consist of saturated fats. So I do agree with the article these Krispy Kreme donuts are a contributing factor to the obesity epidemic in America.

Dywane Wade’s nicknames are “Flash” and “D-Wade”. Wade stands at 6ft 4in and weighs 216lbs. He is a shooting guard who is capable of playing the point, and often does late in games. He is one of the quickest and hardest to guard players in the NBA. He has mastered the “Freeze Fake”, which is when a player pump fakes, waits for the player to commit and then jump up into the player to draw the foul. Wade has also established himself as one of the best clutch players in the NBA. One of his greatest strengths is getting to the rim and finishing, sometimes after mid-air collisions. One of his greatest weaknesses is his three-point range. Due to his style of play he has been injured a lot and in the past two years he has had surgery on his knee and his shoulder.…

Judge Manning’s demeanor towards the defendant was a bit shocking when looking at the crimes the defendant committed. At times the defendant began to cry or get sad, and the judge seem to show sympathy for him. He would ask him if he needed a break from standing or just to take a moment to himself. He showed concern for the defendant. When Judge Manning began reading each indictment, he made sure to pronounce each victims name correctly by asking the prosecutors did he pronounce them correctly, every time he had a hard time pronouncing foreign names. Judge Manning also out of kept informing the defendant that this would take a while and asked him to be patient several times. I’m not exactly sure if gender played a role in this case, though…

Yes, the height and weight of college football players has increased over seven decades. From 1950 to 2010, there was a 50.8% increase in weight for OLs and a 50.9% increase in weight for DLs. However, height only increased by 5.2% in OLs and increased by 6.7% in DLs. In addition to the changes in height and weight, Jacobson also looked at the differences in height and weight between offensive line positions – center, guard, and tackle. The comparisons between these positions were of those from 1950-1960 and their counterparts from 2000-2010. A statistically significant difference in weight was found “between guards and tackles, but not between centers” (Jacobson). No statistical difference was found in the mean weights of their 2000-2010 counterparts. The study found that guards were “slightly shorter than both tackles and centers” for the 1950-1960 lineman. When the 2000-2010 linemen were looked at, the tackles were “significantly taller that both guards and centers” (Jacobson). WRs and DBs did showcase an increase in height and weight over the same seven decades, their increases weren’t quite as dramatic as the line positions. WRs and DBs showed an increase of 7.7% and 10.1%, respectively, in weight and an increase of 1.9% and 2.3% in height, respectively, from 1950-2010…

Bo also possessed unbelievable feats of strength. Jumping 40 foot ditches, throwing crab apples though windows, and dunking a stick on a 10 foot basketball goal are just a few. It may not seem all that great for an adult to do that, but a young boy in eighth grade is truly remarkable. It didn't stop there in high school Bo broke the state record for the 100 meter dash which still stands today. Along with that he took down an entire batting cage at practice just by hitting the ball as hard as he can.…

In his book, Mr. Schlosser exposes the effects big corporate fast food chains have on America’s Citizens and its economy. From this book, I will only focus on the rising obesity and children being there main marketing target. He writes, "If you look at the rise of the obesity rate in the United States, its grown pretty much in step with the rise of fast-food consumption... and now it's the second-leading cause of death in the United States, after smoking." Schlosser believes there is no reason that fast food chains should produce burgers that contain 75 grams of fat. He argues, “They don't have to deal with the long-term consequences of the food. If they did, they might change the menu . . .” He also has a problem with chains heavily marketing…

Americans are heavier than ever before and, according to the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) approximately 127 million adults in the U.S. are overweight, 60 million adults are obese, and 9 million adults are morbidly obese. Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to the extent that may have an adverse effect on health, leading to reduced life expectancy and/or increased health problems. Obesity increases the likelihood of various diseases, particularly heart disease, type 2 diabetes, breathing difficulties during sleep, certain types of cancer, and osteoarthritis. It can be caused by many reasons. One obvious reason is the rise in fast food consumption that companies are so adamant on pushing the public to buy, especially children. With fast food chains creating more and more ways to entice the American public to eat their food, it is becoming harder and harder to stay in shape these days. The fast life of America is quickly taking its toll on the public with the silent enemy called obesity creeping up at an alarming rate. In fact, the rate of it overtaking our lives is so fast; the Surgeon General has called it an "epidemic". Now, the real question is- are fast food restaurants really the culprits at work here? In this essay I intend to compare two very different takes on fast food companies and their ways of making people fat as well as my stand on the matter.…

It is appropriate to say fast food may cause obesity. According to these statistics; this is because at most fast food restaurants you can up-size: medium, large, or super-size. Ordering oversized portions of servings may cause you to overeat. Although in the past McDonalds was blamed for a large part of obesity rate, McDonalds has made efforts to consciously make consumers more aware of what their food contains. It has also made more choices available, with much better nutritional value. In comparison, KFC chicken pot pies has 790 calories in them and wouldn’t this much soda be higher in calories.…
