How then shall I live?
So far I have lived my life for twenty years and on February 2, 2012 will be twenty-one years of me living my life. When I look back on my life I think about how I got to where I am today. Also I think about all the people I meet, the places I been, and all the things I have done for myself and others weather it be good or bad. And everything I have done to make my life what it is today. My life started on February 2, 1991 when I was born at Magee hospital in Pittsburgh. I lived in the same house my whole life which is located in Munhall, Pa. I live with both of my parents who have greatly impacted the way I live my life, and also my grandmother who lived with us until she passed away when I was eighteen. When I was young I played sports and many things with my family and friends. I went to elementary school at a catholic school named St. Therese. Then I went to Steel Valley High School. After graduating high school I went to Saint Vincent College for two semesters but did not enjoy going to school there as much as I thought I was going to. I decided to transfer to Robert Morris University where I am closer to home and get to spend more time with my family and friends which makes going to college more enjoyable for me. I am going to be describing how I have chosen to live my life by explaining things that happened in my life and relating my life events to theories we discussed in class and what I have learned from the Rosenstand text.
Throughout my life I have tried to live according to the ethical theory of altruism. Altruism is defined as the concern for the interests of others. Extreme or ideal altruism is
