HOW MOTIVATED ARE YOU TO LEARN
Being motivated to do what is required to attain the goal set by you is a challenge. All students face these challenges. Motivation refers to those factors that energize behavior. They are the driving and pulling forces resulting in persistent behavior directed towards specific goals. The motivational level keeps varying and so does the efforts. Keeping your motivational level and enthusiasm high and fairly consistent is essential for anything you do. Check if your goals are set well. How strongly you feel for them? Are the goals realistic and focused? Unrealistic goals can be de-motivating. Having vague aims and goals will not bring out hundred percent of capability. Specify your goals. The goal statement should always be in the back of your mind. Have long-term goals and short-term goals. You might want to become surgeon. This is your long term-goal. Your short-term goal would be to do well in exams, score good marks and grades. However, your immediate goal would be to learn and understand the subject matter well, to gain knowledge about your subject. The immediate goal of gaining knowledge is the one that will lead you to the short-term goals and finally cuts. No bargaining will work. Once the goal is set strongly in your mind work for it. Leave no stone unturned. Put the right kind of effort in the right direction.
Motivation requires goals. A motivation once set does not last forever. You have to renew it periodically before it dips down. This is more so when it comes to scholastic performance and academic achievement. Yours in this field are of importance. As students their time and turn. None of the other matters can be allowed to take you off the track. All this will depend on how strongly you are committed to achieve the goal.

The person who had to read the books maybe would look at the titles and perhaps even read one of them, but boredom would set in. That is where motivation comes in.…

A lack of motivation could occur if a student is uninterested in the subject(s) being taught or if they are erroneously placed in a vocational track (Rose 346). Students may also begin to think if the teacher, isn’t going to go out of their way to give additional help to the students that need it to succeed, than they shouldn’t bother to study. In the essay “I Just Wanna Be Average” by Mike Rose, he talks about his time spent in the vocational track and how he began to lose interest in all subjects and began to loath…

Setting educational goals is an important part of your academic success, this will help us stay on track on what our educational goal is. A goal will not let me sidetrack if I keep repeating to myself what my goal is. Educational goals will also assist me in planning a good strategy to make my goals move forward and become a reality not just thoughts. I may write down my goal and follow the steps towards reaching it by reading it daily. My educational goal is to finish my criminal justice bachelor in 3 years and no more than that. I am also looking forward to an academic success goal which is getting a job that I enjoy and that pays me a lot more than what they pay me right now.…

First, setting goals will help you focus on where you need to get to, instead of fooling around when you shouldn’t. I once read that having no goals to aim for is like shooting an arrow with no target, and it’s true. What are you aiming for in life if you have no dreams to reach? By setting goals, it will motivate you to keep going. Whether it’s for your education or in your career, you will want to keep pushing yourself so that you can become the best that you can. As Dr. O. Carl Simonton once said “Goals are simply tools to focus your energy in positive directions, these can be changed as your priorities change, new ones added, and others dropped.”…
