How Does Orwell Present The Theme Of Corruption In Animal Farm
George Orwell used the animal in the ¨Animal Farm¨ to represent the humans in the Russian revolution and he demonstrates the corruption of humans. Orwell also shows how snowball and napoleon use the power to corrupt the animal farm. napoleon and snowball corrupted them by making rules that make them believe that they will change stuff up in the farm.
Old Major taught Animalism and gave the speech about fighting for the animal's right´s and not being own by human beings. After old Major died couple days after his speech, napoleon and snowball take over the farm after they taught himself how to read and write, then the animal when on to war with the farm owner Mrs. Jones and kick him out of the farm. Snowball was the pig who challenged napoleon and always disagree with each other. Napoleon was thinking about make a windmill to help the worker and snowball end up taking his ideas and make it his own. After the rebellion, napoleon ended up making the dogs chase snowball out of the farm for stolen Napoleon ideas, for an example “He was running as only a pig can run, but the dogs were close on his heels”.
