How do we save our natural resources
How do we save our natural resources? How do we show the younger generation that we wanted to save the world now? We need to show that we are saving our natural resources for the next generation and save the future of our planet we love so much. Do we love this planet enough to save it?
What do you think of when we say save the planet? When we hear this we think of tree hugging people who want to do nothing more than tell us that we need to protect the trees. Well when we hear save the planet we should think of our children and future generations. Right now we are doing nothing more dangerous than draining our planet of precious natural resources.
Why do we drain our planet of the natural resources? We say we do it because we need them for our benefits, for our everyday survival. Sure that sounds great now but what do we say to our future generations when there is nothing here. Nothing but a dead planet with no kinds of oil, trees, let alone a great atmosphere for them to breathe with. What have we done to them now? We need to think about what we are doing now and show them that we cared enough to leave a sustainable planet for them.
If we take the oil from the earth and destroy our forests what will we do to the rest of the planet besides leaving it dry from no oil and barren because there is no beauty from all the forests. This is what will happen we will use all that oil to run our cars and create smog. Then you know what we will do cut down all the trees in the forests to handle our growing population to house everyone. What does that do to our planet?
What does it do, it literally turns our beautiful blue skies, dark. Then you know what happens after that? We cannot breathe because what we are breathing in is disgusting. We are not breathing in that wonderful oxygen we need and crave so much, no worse yet we are breathing in carbon dioxide. Our bodies do not need that, it needs oxygen we live for it and it is how we function. While breathing in the carbon

If we as humans use up and pollute our Earth and its resources, we will be taking away from not only us, but all the plants and animals that live here as well. If the resources we use and pollute and don’t replenish affect the habitats that animals and plants belong to, it could alter an entire ecosystem. Changes in an ecosystem could lead to some plants and animals dying off. Other organisms, or even us, could benefit from said plants and animals. It would also decrease biodiversity. Biodiversity is necessary for a healthy ecosystem. In fact, a…

First, we have global warming, which is a problem that must be solved as soon as possible. Some ignorant people think that it won’t happen but we are actually living this situation right now, every single day. According to some NASA studies, since 1950, the average temperature has climbed 1.4Fahrenheit degrees around the world. As a consequence of this fact, an Arctic ice area, which was bigger than the United States, has melted this year! Another evidence of global warning is that the frequency and number of hurricanes and earthquakes around the world has increased the last years. The irony of all this is that even though we do realize what is happening; even though we know that we are destroying our planet, we are still polluting, wasting and damaging.…

Saving the environment or better said ‘going green’, a hot topic at the moment. It seems like everything is about ‘going green’. Protection of our environment has become really important in today's society. Environmental movements are doing what they can to let people realize that what we are doing now is bad. The real problem however is that we realize what we are doing and yet we proceed doing it: exploiting natural sources for raw materials, unnecessary usage of water and cutting trees, every person with at least a bit of sense would realize that this is wrong.…

Moreover, I aim to give back to the Earth, I’ve already started my journey by leading the Eco-Warrior club at my school to make Reed High more environmentally friendly. I feel that humanity should aspire to maintain the Earth for generations to come. As I hear about the exploitation of our planet it angers me knowing that people abusively strip the Earth of her resources; we cannot go rampantly destroying the same home which provides us with life. I am driven by the moralistic need to preserve the Earth which has given us everything. We must give back all that we’ve taken from the…

It is a well-known fact that humans have been living on and modifying the earth since the beginning of time. Today, it is called “managing our resources” or “drilling responsibly,” but these actions still prove the arrogance of humanity to believe the earth is ours to manipulate. As we continue to inhabit this planet, we destroy our precious environment without concern for how our actions affect others who inhabit our planet. We are continually warned by scientists that our activities present danger to the environment. For example, our over-consumption is associated with limiting natural resources, and deforestation is a threat to the survival of all species on Earth. Trees produce oxygen, a necessity for life; what happens when it’s all gone? The future of the Earth remains in doubt, due to the damaging impacts that arise from the human’s greed for their own fulfillment and ego.…

The bell rings and school lets out and the only way to the bus is through the field of Abbot Park. Before the team and I got ready for football practice, we always walked to get something to eat. Trailing the kids to the bus, I saw homework on the ground, trash, and a lot of irrelevant things not pertaining to a healthy way of life. All I could think to myself is this, in twenty years if we are disrespecting the earth like this; what are our successors going to do? It is absolutely astonishing that anyone can waste natural resources considering the fact that we are running out of it at an alarming rate.…

My fellow congressmen and congresswomen welcome and thank you for joining me today for this special session of Congress. I am here to address to you today, on a major crisis that is happening to us and our world. It is simple; the worldwide dilemma of human arrogance to nature. In the 1700’s humans sought the four corners of the world and conquered it. And so with these new land and foods, we have simply multiplied. Then, we sought to make our lives simple, so ideas were put to action through the Industrial Revolution. This revolution required raw materials that were needed to run machines, that in return mass produced products that brought new essentials for life. And within 308 years, the Earth has the population of humans ranging over 6 billion; more than any other species in our world. Furthermore, since the Industrial Revolution, humans have burned through our limited supply of non-renewable natural resources. Because of our burning of non-renewable natural resources we have polluted our world and now we are facing repercussions. United Nations believe that the world will have 12.9 billion people by the year 2050 and that our non renewable resource will be severely reduced or dry up. We can feel it now at this very time, ladies and gentlemen. Prices of our commodities have increased and will continue to rise as we our population prospers. We have been growing unchecked and our biodiversity have been suffering. We must limit population growth and non-renewable natural resources, and fund new ideas so that we, the World and Humans co-exist as one being.…
