How Did The Rise Of The Early Islamic Empire
The early Islamic empire had grown very rapidly. It all started with a prophet Muhammad and through war and treaties. Like most empires grew this one grew with religion.
The early Islamic empire expanded through war. The “Battle of the Yarmuk” from document A, in the battle 24,000 Muslims had took part in this battle. About 70,000 Greeks were put to death by the Muslims and the rest of their army had “took to flight”. Also in this fight Muslim women took part in it too. There was Hind “daughter of ’Utabah” she said to cut off all of the arms of the non- Muslims.
Also the early empire expanded through the granting of gifts. In document B it states “His followers will not be killed or taken prisoner, nor will they be separated from their women
