How Did The British Affect Nigeria
The British negatively affected Nigeria socially because when they got to Nigeria they were changing up the land more than they should have ruining social groups causing people around eachother who became immune to each other were grouped by their religion, depending where they were living, is where they would have to go so people who all had different life styles had to learn how to be compatible with other people, which is good however caused social indifferences. Immigrants were forced to move around for economic opportunities. There were three main ethnic groups, Hausa-Fulani, Yoruba, Igbo. Hausa had most people in the group. The British put them together.
