How Did Europeans Settle In North America
Europeans Settled in North America over 500 years ago, but why? I have three reasons that I think is what pulled the Europeans to settle in North America. My three reasons are freedom of religion, the discovery of new land, and to find resources that are rare.

The first pull factor for the settlement in North America is the freedom of religion. “Catholic leaders in Spain often burned heretics—nonbelievers—in public during the Inquisition of the 1400s and 1500s.” “Heretics” or "nonbelievers" were burnt because of the lack of a religion they followed. Going to a new land, North America would allow them to practice whatever religion they want.

Another pull factor would be the discovery of new land and new resources. “Columbus obtained

    In the early 1500’s certain Christians from different European nations went against the Roman authority of the pope.
