How Did Culture Influence The Development Of Ancient Civilization
Throughout history, the world has seen the rise and fall of many large and successful civilizations. All of these ancient civilizations created many things and ideas that increased the advancement of mankind. All cultures do contribute to the advancement of mankind. More specifically, ancient cultures, such as Egypt, the Middle East, Greece, Rome, and Asia all contributed to mankind’s advancement. One of the earlier civilizations was Ancient Egypt, who are credited with creating a numerical system, religious ideas, such as the afterlife, and everyday objects, such as the calendar. All of these creations helped to change society in a way that benefited the individual. The numeric system allowing the human to count things, like how much agriculture they produced in a year. The religious ideas carried over into many future influential religions, like Christianity. Finally, the calendar allowed people to plan things more specifically, allowing them to have time frames for projects among other things. Civilizations in the Middle East also made many contributions, like the first legal code. This influenced society through actually having a way for people to live their lives.
