How Did Barack Obama Change The World

Being the first to do something is something that is very remarkable, and being amazing at what it is that you do is amazing. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Barack Obama’s dad didn’t like him and eventually his mother as well. After his dad left the island and headed to Massachusetts to go to Harvard, he divorced and left Barack and his mother alone. After becoming an honor student in his schools, he went to multiple colleges and got his degree in political science. After that, he changed the world. After, he entered the political field as a lawyer and after some years he joined the Senate. About 5 years later he announced that he is running for president of the United States. He won the election of 2008 against the Republican nominee John McCain during his first term, becoming the 44th President and first ‘colored’ President of the United States. As he became the first president who is ‘colored’, many people were inspired by his braveness and also his caring personality. He proved that America wasn’t a ‘white’ country and made the ‘colored’ citizens feel more welcome than ever. According to biography.com; “When Obama took office, he inherited a global economic recession, two ongoing foreign wars and the lowest-ever international favorability rating for the United States. He campaigned on an ambitious agenda of financial reform, alternative energy and reinventing education and health care—all while bringing down the national debt.” He was able to stabilize the economy and maintain peace with foreign nations and make relations a lot better than before. A part of his mission was also to clean the environment from pollution that our country has created. He commanded the attack of 09/11/2001, which was a group of hijacked planes that crashed into the twin towers, pentagon, and into the lawn at the White House. Shortly after the news of bin Laden's death, Mr Bush issued a statement saying the mission marked a “victory for America.” The United States was officially ‘safe’ from possible attacks that could’ve been commanded by bin Laden himself. The United States learned a very hard lesson in 2001 in regards to thousands of lives lost due to poor national defense. I’ve made clear, just as President Bush did shortly after 9/11, that our war is not against Islam. Bin Laden was not a Muslim leader; he was a mass murderer of Muslims.
