How Did Art Change During The Renaissance
During the Renaissance, there were many changes in society. One of these changes was the rise of art and artists. Wealthy people would pay artists a lot of money for certain works of art to be commissioned. This led to the creation of several classic works of art, such as The Last Supper and the Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci. This also led to The Thinker and the painting of the Sistine Chapel by Michelangelo. As can be guessed, artists were placed very high on the social ladder thanks to the newfound interest in art. A downside of the newfound interest in art, however, was that it usually meant that only the wealthy had access to certain kinds of art. This created a gap between the rich and the lower class. On the other hand, the invention
