Cell phones have become a daily necessity in everyone’s lives. As computers were once the stationary device used to find research or for work use, they are now used more for games and other things. You can essentially do anything that you want, and buy anything you want on the computer. Cell phones have now become a mobile computer at the palm of your hands. Most humans are unable to function without having their cell phones on them. People that leave their cell phones at home say they feel “naked” and as if something is missing. Cell phones have gone from being used for emergency phone calls to now people overusing them and getting brain cancer. In todays society not only do cells phones take over your learning environments and social events they have made people lose lives just by sending a simple text saying “hey” while driving a car. Having a small device that can find you any information you want is increasing the problem of not spending as much quality time with your family, and many accidents and problems are caused because of cell phones
As more and more people get cell phones every year, the number of text messages that have been sent and receive soar sky high with them. The average cell phone user sends 54 text messages in a half of a month to communicate with friends and family. People from the ages eighteen to twenty eight said that their relationships with their parents are very strong because although they are away at college, their parents are a simple phone call or text away. Cell phones have become so technologically advanced including cell phone applications, texting, games, music, banking, email, the Internet, global positioning system, and many other neat features that increase the use of cell phones. Cell phones are a great accessible device to have in case of an emergency. For example, if someone runs out of gas, they have an easy way of contacting someone. No matter where you are, r the time of day it is, call phones are an amazing source for communication. Without a cell phone, long distant relationships would be hard to keep in ones life.
