How Can Evolution And Creation Be Proven False?
Scientific theories must be testable and capable of being proven false. Neither evolution nor biblical creation qualifies as a scientific theory in the sense, because each deals wit historical events that cannot be repeated. Both evolution and creation are based on unobserved assumptions about past events. It is inconcsistent to say that evolution qualifies as a scientific theory while creation does not.

Declarative knowledge involves knowing that something is true and is assessed by having students state what they know. Procedural knowledge involves doing something using a technique that has been learned. It is assessed by providing a previously unused situation that involves application of the technique to determine whether the student can

All scientific theories must be able to make testable predictions. Such predictions are based on observations. Experiments can then be conducted to verify (or falsify) such predictions. Darwin theorized that evolution occurred through natural selection; however, this may not have occurred in smooth process. Some evolutionary theorists suggest that evolution by natural selection occurred in step-wise fashion.…

Some people believe that only science is correct. There is no evidence of the seven days of creation except by word, whereas all theories of evolution and the Big Bang have a large amount of evidence, and hundreds of hours of research dedicated to them. Evolution and the Big Bang have explanations for and biological reasons, whereas why would a God suddenly decide to make a universe and planet for living organisms?…

Although the Darwinian evolution theory came out 150 years ago when it was first introduced in On the Origin of Species in 1859, nowadays there are still many people who firmly believe in the creationism, even some who are well educated. In chapter three of River Out of Eden Richard Dawkins brings out this situation and refutes creationism by citing scientific experiments, and finally he points out that gradualism is a principle of the evolution nature world, one that becomes indispensable when one is trying to explain complex phenomena.…

In order to say that an idea is more than a theory, we must first understand the many definitions of the word “theory”. Dawkins says that two of the definitions are of importance here. In the first definition, theory is described as an accepted idea that explains facts and it has been confirmed or proven. The second definition describes theory as a hypothesis or idea used to try to explain facts, an explanation through a personal view. Dawkins says that scientists use the first definition and creationists use the second.…

One of the main scientific theories that opposes Creation story’s is Evolution a theory that was discovered by Charles Darwin. It shows that living things evolve and adapt to their environment over millions of years so that they can survive. This strongly opposes Creation story's as Most creation story’s depict god making everything whilst Darwin shows us evolving from apes.…

William Jennings stated that evolution is a hypothesis not a theory, the definitions of a hypothesis is a proposition that is consistent with known data but has been neither verified nor shown to be false. Although the theory of evolution isn’t proven to be true neither was the creation story in the bible which states in Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust from the ground and breathed life into his nostrils; and man became a living soul, this has not been proven either, therefore making the bible’s creation story a hypothesis also, contradicting Jennings’ and all those who say that evolution should not be taught because it isn’t true because the same could be could be said on the part of the bibles description of the creation of man.…

The difference between religiously based myths of origin and creation stories derived from scientific accounts is that religiously based myths can just be accepted and believed once heard from a person. The scientific accounts claim to be truer and make much more sense. They can be checked and cleared by anyone/anything for proof. The creation stories rely largely on fields of education, like astronomy, physics, geology, biology, etc. The religiously based myths, according to the Nahavo in the beginning, became a story of the world created by the Holy People. It was said that the first man and woman were formed from white and yellow corn ears. To the Ancient Greeks, the birth of Earth and Sky created the universe. For the biblical people and Hebrews, it was told that God created everything, including man who was placed in the Garden of Eden. Overall, many people now believe the creation stories derived from scientific accounts because they have more factual evidence.…

Some evolutionists advance one of several theories known as "theistic evolution." One variation of this theory states that God is the "Creator" of the universe in that He guided its evolutionary process. This idea, too, fails to measure up to the evidence. If evolution of any form were true, then the fossil record would show millions of transitional forms in every layer of geological stratum. However, no such transitional form has ever been found. This lack of scientific and paleontological evidence lends support to my conclusion that Creation is the only logical model for how the universe came into being. Suffice it to say, I believe what the Bible says about Creation is the absolute truth.…

Evolution is not suggesting that humans evolved just through chance, because evolution does not work by chance. Evolution is a much longer process and a change develops over many years. Evolution works through natural selection, which is also not a random selection or change. Although mutation occurs, which may cause random changes that may or may not be beneficial, evolution itself is not random.…

I believe the theory of creationism to be a more valid explanation for the creation of the universe as well as mankind. My faith leads me to believe that the earth was created by means of catastrophic events versus changes over time. Gish discusses creation with the word “catastrophism”, a theory that suggests “the earth has been affected in the past by sudden, short-lived, violent events, possibly worldwide in scope.” He further defines evolution as “uniformitarianism” which is “slow incremental changes, such as erosion, created all the Earth's geological features (Gish).” I see the term creationism as being associated with the Christian community and evolution, the science community.…

Though some states do teach both and very few teach how evolution is wrong, the majority of public school students in the US are taught evolution. Creation is a belief and evolution is a scientific theory. Different published works will say contrasting things about this controversy and how well, scientifically speaking the two sides stack against each other. Neither creation nor evolution can be proven using the scientific method because they can’t be tested. All that is left to do is take the evidence left by both sides and compare them to how well they fit into the science and history of the…
