I have reviewed your conversation with Mr. Bradley Stonefield, and will begin putting together a few recommendations based on the business strategy that was presented last week to increase work performance. In addition, I will take a look at the alignment of performance management framework to the organizational business strategy, the job analysis process to identify the skills needed, the methods used for measuring the employees skills, and the approach for delivering an effective performance review. I know that Mr. Bradley Stonefield will be at a -$50,000 within the first year of business as well as 25 newly hired employees. Furthermore, it is critical to have a plan in place to maximize the company’s performance and to have less than the 10% turnover rate that Mr. Stonefield predicts.…

While HipHopKhasene is a ‘mock wedding’ style music album, Abigail Wood shows how the album differs greatly from a traditional klezmer wedding album. Most klezmer wedding albums “have created programmes where the repertory and performance practice recreate as faithfully as possible a wedding that might have existed in a certain time and place in Eastern Europe” (Wood, 11). These albums, whether intentionally or not, form a stark contrast to modern day Jewish music. HipHopKhasene on the other hand, does not try to reenact a wedding that may have taken place hundreds of years ago, but tries to bring those traditions into the modern day. Instead of having tradition klezmer wedding music and modern day music running parallel, yet completely apart, to each other, HipHopKhasene fuses the two together. Abigail Wood shows how Solomon and Dolgin take tradition klezmer musical instruments such as a violin and combine them with electronic beats to create a new sound. By doing so, “the listener is introduced not to a disembodied CD which somehow appeared on the shelves of the record shop but to the world that this project is coming from: not only a past culture, but a contemporary, everyday world where people hang out and music is made” (Wood, 7).…

    1. It eroded relations because it led to the taxation of the colonies. England believed it was the colonies responisibility to pay taxes because it was the British army that was protecting them. The costs of the war with things such as money, and death "laid the groundwork for the imperial crisis of the 1760's between the British and Americans" (pg145). The war also made the colonists realize that they had to do more to protect their homes on the frontier than the British did.…

Agriculture and trade, carried on in traditional ways, remained the foundation of the economy. American shipping enjoyed a spurt of prosperity between 1793 and 1805, but suffered when England and France restricted America's rights as a neutral nation. Cities were closely associated with international trade, but still played a marginal role in the life of the rest of the nation. Industrialization and mechanization were just beginning to frighten skilled craftsmen.…

Jen is right when she expressed that coming to America leaves most foreigners completely disoriented, more so than other cultures would. She believes this country to be so confusing because our culture in the Unite States is mostly created for a mixture of many different societies and cultures from around the would. When Jen says, “Everywhere has a somewhere else around the corner,” she is explaining how diversified our culture is here in the United States, and while diversity is a great thing, it also is confusing for an immigrant trying to learn the way of life. The hardship in immigrants trying to adapt to the single way of life in America is that there is no single way of life here.…

I believe the states should decide specific issues of same-sex marriage as for there is nothing stated in the Constitution about same-sex marriage specifically; therefore, according to the 10th amendment, the decision belongs to the states/people, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people"(The 10th Amendment). The quote defines the 10th amendment for the purpose that anything not granted to the Federal Government via The Constitution, then the power belongs to the people. Some may argue and say that same-sex marriage has to do with religion because everyones idea behind the issue regardless of whether they are for or against it, is religious. It is expressed in the 1st amendment how congress can make no law establishing or respecting an establishment of religion allowing me to believe that is why the federal government should not 'decide on the specific issues of same-sex marriage.…

Under a Christian-based community, the Church will designate members in the congregation to the board of the Homeowners Association or “HOAs” responsible for establishing rules and guidelines for the community. Some of these rules limit what the homeowner can have in their front yard and how often it is maintained. For example, the grass must be cut, trimmed, and debris removed in a timely matter, but not to exceed 10 days. Others, states what type of activities, dates and times they are held, and the type of attire that can be worn also the type of language that is acceptable in the community. For example, no pants or shorts can be worn below the waistline revealing undergarments, no explicit or sexual clothing, nor foul or disrespectful languages are used within the premises of the community. HOA boards implement rules like these to keep the neighborhood consistent with the Christian belief and the highest moral and ethical standard possible. The board is also responsible for publicizing and enforcing these rules under the guidance of the Church Spiritual Leaders as they apply. Typically, if a homeowner violated a rule, they will receive a warning letter or phone call about compliance within a certain time frame. If no actions were taken to resolve the issue, matters will be forwarded to the Church for the appropriate actions to resolve the problem.. The HOA has certain social responsibilities to the community. This responsibility is influenced by religious beliefs and the needs of the community to uphold and practice their faith, unlike conventional communities, religious communities live on a biblical base principle. The rules and regulations have to match this belief so not to cause conflict between the law and religion. Examples would be no landscaping or maintenance to the yard on the Sabbath, not to include emergencies. No homeowner will be made to comply with…

The public relations executive was enthusiastic on the phone. The IT Company he represented had started installing green data centres and energy-efficient computers. Would I like to fly to California to see for myself? That would be a 2,500-mile round trip from my home in Midwestern Canada. According to the online calculator from Terapas, the trip would release 1.132 pounds (About 500 kilos) of CO2 into the atmosphere. ‘if you’re really into green technology, couldn’t we do a videoconference instead? ‘I asked. ‘Sure,’ said the PR person. We are totally into green issues. ‘He promised to arrange it. Months later, nothing had happened.…
