1. All patients are entitled to receive safe and appropriate nursing care. They are entitled to receive care from a competent and knowledgeable nurse. Patients are entitled to receive competent and safe care including receiving the correct medications. The five rights are right patient, right drug, right dose, right route and right time. The purpose of the five is to make sure the patients safety is first and foremost. It is to make sure that the healthcare worker is using all means necessary to make sure the right patient is getting the right medication with the right amount via the right method at the right time. It is to decrease the possibility of the patient getting wrong meds (Nurse Neighborhood, 2012)

Another route is sublingual or buccal. These methods rely on the capillaries under the tongue or in the cheek for quick absorption. Medications such as nitroglycerin are given this way (GCU, 2012). Medications may also be absorbed by the capillaries in the rectum. This is a useful route in patients who cannot take medications by mouth due to nausea, vomiting, or extreme disease of the mouth (GCU, 2012). A final way would be parenteral. This method involves administering medication intravenously, intradermal, subcutaneously, intramuscularly, and intrathecally (GCU, 2012). The best and most preferred route to give medication is orally. The

In both humans and cows, this sequence is part of a set of instructions for controlling a bodily function. In this case, the sequence contains the gene to make the protein insulin. There are four elements of ethical issues regarding patient care such as, attentiveness, responsibility, competence and responsiveness. Attentiveness involves nurses being able to recognize the needs of the patient and their families. The development of a close relation between nursing staff and patient through receptibility helps the nurses to be receptive to what the patients need. A nurse has the responsibility to care for their patients and be a support system for their patient. A nurse must exhibit competence while caring for their patients. Nurses must be able to provide individual care. They are obligated to provide care of a patient based on their physical needs, psychological, cultural and religious needs of the patients and their families. Nurses have a duty to ensure that the patients’ needs are being met. If the patient is responding to the nurse in a positive to the treatment that is received. The American Nurse Associations’ provision 3 states that a nurse advocates for the patient, promotes and protects the rights, their health and safety for the patient. I can’t deny David’s got several characteristics of an entrepreneur: he has determination, opportunity obsession, creativity. He has the ability to identify and take advantage of a succession of opportunities in its environment: by reading the book “Trading up” he identified a demand for new luxury goods; by talking with the hygienist, he decided to focus on pet food industry; thanks to its market research and attention to pet shops environment, he pinpointed the new “out-of-home” dog-related product category, and finally by watching a dog drinking in a park he decided to launch portable drinking water product for dogs. The “Pup Cups” product is the main strength of David’s new venture: it is a totally new product, first in the new “out-of-home” category. However there are several reasons why David is so nervous taking the plundge. Firstly due to weaknesses in his Business Model: it has only one product line, no infrastructure and no distribution channel. Secondly, there are threats in the business environment, such as big players in the dog food industry likely to launch a product before him.…
