Introduction
According to Klein (2005), local problems refer to the issues that impact on the society either positively or negatively. Klein (2005) provides that local issues often impact negatively on one group of individuals while at the same time impacting positively on another group of individuals on the society. Local problems affect a small group of individuals that are characterized by the same aspects such as culture and area of residence. Thus, in moral reasoning an individual undertakes to execute the thoughts that are right only. Moral reasoning that an individual undertakes to commit that which does affect others since any undertaking that affect the welfare of others is considered to be wrong. In this case, moral reasoning is important in that it will help curb some of the contributory factors to the spread of the homelessness problem in Santa Fe in New Mexico thereby counteracting further spread of the problem. For instance, moral reasoning will indicate that domestic violence is not an undertaking that is right. As a result, if moral reasoning is applied domestic violence will be reduced and hence the spread of homelessness in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Still, if moral reasoning is applied, the government can increase government spending of public housing and hence make the housing affordable. Consequently, the problem of homelessness will be solved. If moral reasoning is to be applied, abuse of drugs and substance will be eliminated. Since drug and substance has contributed to the increased rate of homelessness, eliminating drug and substance abuse will consequently reduce the rate of
