This year was the first time I have ever been to a dance in my life. During Homecoming week a few of my friends asked if I wanted to could go to eat and the dance in their group. Before this day I had always thought that dances were unneeded and an undesirable event to go to. But, by the time we went out to eat and went to the dance I could not believe how much fun I had at a dance. Being around with my friends and getting to see people over the weekend that I usually did not get to see except on during school was a new experience that makes me want to go out more often then I have before in the past.
