    First you'll need some inexpensive items to make your homemade Play-doh starting with Newspaper, medium size bowl, a spoon, 1/2 cup of salt, 1/2 cup of water, 1 cup of flour, and a food dye coloring. To start layer your working surface with newspaper just so you don't make a mess of the area you will be using to make your Play-doh. Next measure out a cup of flour 1/2 cup of salt and 1/2 cup of water take your medium size bowl and pour into the bowl your ingredients such as the 1 cup of flour and 1/2 cup of salt and water that you have just measured out.
