Nowadays, due to the rapid economic development all around the world, most of people begun to focus on the important of the hospitality and tourism, whether it is generated revenue for those businessman or those went away from home for vacation. Therefore, in 20th century people began to see the commercial value in hotels and led to the developments of large hotel chains.

As a hotelier as well as a tourist, I have some idea would like to share with you on the below page, to discuss what is the major advantages and disadvantages of a hotel which situated right in the heart of commercial center of Hong Kong as everyone knows – The Holiday Inn Express Causeway Bay Hotel. It is situated in Causeway Bay MTR metro station which nearby one of a biggest shopping mall as well as a landmarks in Hong Kong – Times Square, SOGO, Etc. Since there is many world famous brand flagship store surround, therefore most of the tourist or even local guests like to come here for shopping and dinning. For this reason, there are also many same industry competitors in here. The companies all understand that this area can bring them much of profit even though Causeway Bay is one of the highest rental districts in the world. So how Holiday Inn Express to attract their guest and to gain an advantage in this highly competitive area?

The Holiday Inn Express is a limited service hotel which was opened in 2005, it provides 24hours front desk service, and staff can assist with laundry cleaning and currency exchange service. It is a 40 minute drive from the Hong Kong International Airport and the hotel offers a charged airport pick up service that runs at around 30 minute intervals. The hotel has 282 guest rooms in total 27 floors, guests are offered a complimentary breakfast each morning.
