`Needs Assessment is a systematic set of procedures that are used to determine needs, and examine their nature and causes, and set priorities for action in the future. Needs assessments are used by an organization to evaluate Individual employees and their job assignments to determine what kind of job training is needed. Needs assessments in order to set up priorities, and to determine criteria for solution, so that planner and managers can make sound decisions.
Organization - What is the context in which training will occur?
Person - Who needs to be trained?
Tasks - What subjects are to be covered?
New Employee Orientation Training method: is critical to establishing successful, productive working relationships. The employees’ first interactions with the organization you should create a positive impression. The time you spend planning for the new employees first days and weeks on the job will increase their chance of getting off to a successful start. Employee Orientation should provide information about the overall company and the social and technical aspects of the job. An effective orientation will foster an understanding of the organization’s culture, its value, and its diversity. Orientation helps new employee develop a positive working relationships by creating a foundation of knowledge and the organizations mission, objectives, polices, organization structure, and functions. New employee orientation helps new employees understand his or her role and how they fit into the total organization
Sun Trust could measure the success of its training programs by using new skilled knowledge. Sun trust training should prepare their training methods by using employee goal settings
