* Northside Hospital was a sprawling, glittering marvel spread over three hectares, with a central administration block of steel and glass that flung itself triumphantly twelve stories into a cloudless sky. A decade in construction, not counting the three month delay while protesters lay in the mud in front of the bulldozers, the complex catered for half the city's medical needs, with unheard of efficiency. It was, simply the best hospital in the state. And I, Mark Welby thought to himself, am part of it!
Striding across the busy reception hall after completing his rounds in Cardiac, the young Dr Welby collided with Nurse Sally Mitchell, a green-eyed blonde whose willowy figure had caught his attention from day one. He caught her before she fell, and slipped her arm protectively around her waist. 'Sorry Sally, are you okay?' he enquired. "I'm fine Dr Welby, I just wasn't looking where I was going.' She blushed at the sudden closeness, then straightened her cap and skirt.
'Well, I'm glad it was you that I bumped into and not Sister Greer,' he joked, thinking of the stern woman who ran the wards in C Block. 'She would have seen it as a political act, I'm sure!'

* Who is included
The people included are Dr Mark Welby, Sally Mitchell, Sister Greer, and the protesters, hospital * What is missing
Any other point of view apart from Dr Mark Welby * Who is empowered (because they are talked about)
Dr Mark Welby is empowered as he works in the hospital in cardiac, he saves Sally from falling, he is young and has status, by speaking highly of the hospital it makes Mark is even more empowered, also Nurse Sally Mitchell as she is good looking and is spoken of highly by Dr Mark Welby but has less status as she calls Mark Welby by his Title, and he calls her by her name, Sister Greer and the hospital which has been empowered, but she has not been mentioned positively. * Who is disempowered
Sister Greer is disempowered as she is joked about by Dr Mark Welby

    They were being stretched thin with an influx of patients. Some kind of road accident. She would not be dealing with any of those patients though, instead a man who had come in for the first time with an unidentified illness. He had passed out in the ambulance and was just arriving. She could not even catch his name, but pulled on her surgical gloves and hurried to where she was directed, one of the rooms nearby. She was ushered in quickly and told that a nurse would probably be with her in around fifteen minutes, to call right away if anything became too urgent, and a file was pressed into her hand. The door snapped closed with a click and she fumbled to open the file, walking towards…

    People with disabilities are one of the most disenfranchised groups in India. Standardized measurements of disability in India and internationally have overlooked the linkages between the economy and disability. In recent decades, neo-liberal economic reforms imposed in developing countries, under pressure from international financial institutions, have downsized state role, privatized social goods, and encouraged export-led strategies and market-based economics. India's economic reforms, initiated in 1991, have led to rapid economic growth that is, however, increasingly mal-distributed.…

    Founded in 1938, SRA or Science Research Associates Inc. is a Chicago-based publisher of educational materials and schoolroom reading comprehension products.[1] Early on, it had a trade and occupational focus. In 1957, it moved into individualized classroom instruction with the iconic SRA Reading Laboratory Kit, a format that later translated to mathematics, science, and social studies.[1]Commonly called SRA cards,[2] the labs were large boxes filled with color-coded cardboard sheets. Each sheet included a reading exercise for students. Each student would have an independent topic, and would work it independently of the other students in the class, consulting with the teacher only if he or she gets stuck. The student would then follow up with multiple choice questions. As the child moved ahead, he or she would advance in difficulty.…

As you become older, your immune system becomes less effective, putting you at greater risk of infection, especially from bacteria and viruses. Good thing is that there are many natural ways to boost your immunity. American writer Susannah Marriott in her book 1001 ways to stay young naturally shares some tips on how you can boost your system. This is the some tips drink more green tea, sleep matters, fresh produce, eat garlic, yoga for the over tired, drink probiotics, make chicken soup and lastly extreme vitamin c. Secondly I want you to know the PROJECT JOBFITS. Senator Cayetano noted that according to the department of labor and employment (DoLE) and study entitled “Project Jobfits 2012,” the services sector will be the main creator of job between years 2012 and 2020. The labor department wants to show that contrary to what most people believe, there are jobs available in the country. Here are the lists of jobs (per industry) that are waiting to be filled in. Agribusiness, cyber services, health, wellness and medical tourism, hotel and restaurant, mining, construction, banking and finance, manufacturing, ownership dwellings/real/retirement estate, wholesale/retail, overseas employment and emerging industries. Thirdly the topic is Between Wants and Needs. There are two fundamental facts which provide a foundation for the field of economics and, in fact comprise the economizing problem. It is important to understand these two facts because everything that follows the study of economics depends directly or indirectly upon them. In economics, a WANT is something that is desired. And a NEED is something that is necessary for survival (such as food and shelter), hierarchy of needs is made by Abraham Harold Maslow. In the top is Self-actualization example of this is morality,…
