Brief History Of Festival
The first festival was in 1970 the day after Jimi Hendrix died. The festival was influenced by hippie beliefs and the free festival movement. The biggest festival yet was held in 1990. There was violence the day after the 1990 festival ended between the security guards and new age travellers, the fight was named the “Battle of Yeoman's Bridge”, this led to the organisers taking 1991 off to rethink the festival.

The ticket price covers entry to the Festival site from Wednesday 26th June until Monday 1st July 2013.
