High Noon Themes
The stories of High Noon and The Most Dangerous Game are very similar to each other. First things first is to explain the stories. High Noon is a story about a marshal named Will Kane who arrested a criminal named Frank Miller (or Mitchell as its changed in the screenplay). Miller for some reason is set free and now that he's on the loose, he and his gang are on the hunt for Kane. When Kane finds out about this, he has just married his wife Amy who is a Quaker. So now he has to decide whether to fight Miller and his gang or flee town with his wife. The other story, The Most Dangerous Game, is similar in its own ways. The Most Dangerous Game is about a man named Rainsford who falls off his boat and is stranded on an island called Ship Trap Island. He discovers that the island is owned by a skilled hunter named General Zaroff. Rainsford discovers something different about the general is placed in a life and death situation. These two stories have many similarities with the settings, themes, and conflicts. The common theme of the stories is along the lines of don't expect people to always be there for you because they can change in a split second. In High Noon, Will Kane is in a life and earth situation and needs deputies to help fight against Frank Miller and his gang. He can't run, he refuses to even though

The themes both gave the message that even thought you have friends, not all of them can be trusted and may end up turning their backs on you in an instant. For the settings, both of the main characters were stuck some how and had no way of getting out of their situations. Lastly the conflicts both dealt with that the characters had to fight on their own in the end even though one of them had to option of help. In conclusion, even though there were the slightest of differences, these stories tell a similar
