Hermione Granger Research Paper
There are intelligent girls in numerous books that I have read, but to me, only a few stand out. Hermione Granger strikes me as one of these characters. The female protagonist in the Harry Potter series, Hermione Granger, is a hard-working and clever individual. Hermione Granger and I are similar, because excelling academically matters to us, we are afraid of failure, and wish for people to be treated fairly.
Both Hermione and I value our education. Hermione wants to be the best student in all of her classes. She gives up house parties; therefore, she can read books and complete assignments from class. Similar to Hermione, as soon as I return home from school I sit down to work on my homework. Are hard work, obviously, reflects in our our grades. There is more to education than the busy work: it is all about understanding and comprehending what you are taught. For us to avoid failing, both of us try our best, the only thing we can, and succeed. Because we set high expectations for ourselves, our work is usually above standards. Failure is our biggest stressor; however, getting an unacceptable grade or failing is how you learn from your mistakes. Hermione is disappointed with herself when she doesn’t earn a top grade. For instance, in her fifth year at Hogwarts, she only received an Exceeds Expectations on her Defense Against the Dark Arts O.W.L. (Ordinary Wizarding Level). Hermione was so devastated that she didn’t earn an Outstanding. In the same way, I take my grades very seriously and am hard on
