Hellgates story and character
Hellgate Trilogy The Hellgate trilogy is a most read series. This trilogy has an action/sci-fi genre and follows three main characters. The main characters have separate allegiances and views. The series has a great main hero, complex relationships, and a struggling romance. It has great descriptions of all events of past or present happenings. It has several in depth fight scenes involving human versus human and human versus demon. There are several different types and styles of combat and weapons. There are several relationships and very little romance. If you look at the overview of the storyline, you can see serious moral schemes and values attached to each character and they all have basic human struggles, so when you read, you feel like you have been drawn in and identify with each plot and scheme. This makes all the events of this doomsday event more realistic.
Simon Cross is part of the Templar Underground. Simon rebels against the believe system of the Templar at a young age and runs off to Africa. He realizes that he was wrong when he sees the Hellgates in London and immediately returns to London and rejoins the Templar
Underground. Upon his return, Simon is met with distrust and scorn by almost all of the
Templar especially the leader of his house Terrence Booth. After Simon realizes that the Templar are not helping the civilians or doing anything to stem the tide of Demons, he rebels again. This time he is joined by likeminded Templar and they start rescuing civilians. Simon and his friends set up sanctuary. This begins the great stand for humanity that the sanctuary fights against the
Demons and the Templar Underground. Simon is the story's main charter and is flawed but attempts to do best for society but struggles with his decisions and his standing.
