The first person who should be in the Hero Hall of Fame is Anne Frank. She was around 9 years old when she went into hiding from the Nazis. She was a little girl, in school, when the Nazis starting invading. So, to protect their family, her parents decided to take her and her sister and go into hiding. As they were hiding she kept a journal documenting what was happening. Eventually, her and her family were caught so they went to a concentration camp, only her dad survived. Helen Keller overcame being blind and deaf. She got really sick as a kid and became blind mute and deaf. Her parents were really upset because since she had no way to communicate with the world she was really angry all the time. Her parents got her a teacher. Helen didn't want to be with this teacher. After a while working together Helen and her teacher found a way to communicate by doing hand signs in the palm of each other's hands. Helen did manage to find a way to communicate but she still faced a lot of challenges. She was extremely sick a lot, which was the reason for losing some of her abilities. What couldn't be seen on the outside, was helen was keeping all this stress and anger built up inside of her so she was constantly throwing a fit. Helen struggled a lot through her life.
