Healthy Lifestyle
A very good morning to my dedicated English teacher, Miss Dawong, and all my fellow friends. The topic of my speech today is “Healthy Lifestyle”. Nowadays, many people live in an unhealthy lifestyle.
According to The Star Online, a lot of people died because of living in an unhealthy lifestyle. Everyone hopes to live healthily. It is very important for us to have a healthy lifestyle.
What should we do to lead a healthy lifestyle? What we should not do to lead a healthy lifestyle? There are some tips on what should and should not do to lead a healthy lifestyle. Firstly, we should eat balanced diet.
According to food pyramid, we should eat most carbohydrates such as bread, cereal, rice and pasta. We should eat less fat such as butter. If we eat less fat, we can avoid being obese.We should also eat more vegetables and fruits and eat less meat. We can avoid constipation if we eat more vegetables and fruits. Nowadays, most of the people love to eat fast food such as burger and also junk food such as potato chips which can lead to unhealthy lifestyle.
So, we should cut down fast food and junk food. We should drink at least 8 glasses of water to clear our blood circulatory. If we eat balanced diet, we will be healthy and will not get sick easily.
Next, we should exercise regularly. We should exercise about thrice a week. We can jog or play some games such as badminton, basketball and ping pong. Exercise regularly can help us to improve our blood circulatory system. When we exercise, we will sweat and removes toxins from our body such as water, urine and mineral salts.
If the toxins are not removed from our body, it will cause illness and even death!
Today, a lot of people feel stress because of their busy lifestyle. Exercise regularly can also let us to “blow off steam”. Furthermore, we should get enough sleep to keep us healthy. We should sleep at about 8 hours a day to have enough energy. If we sleep well, our brain will get enough oxygen and we will
