RESOLUTION NO. ___, S. 2013
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND DEVELOPMENT (ECCD) PLAN OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF LAOANG, NORTHERN SAMAR.
WHEREAS, the policy of the state declares the importance of promoting the rights of children to survival, development, and special protection with full recognition of the nature of childhood and its special needs;
WHEREAS, the Barangay-Level Total Development and Protection of Children Act of 1990 states that all barangays should be able to provide assistance to needs of children, including proper care and nutrition and special protection from all forms of neglect, abuse, and exploitation;
WHEREAS, the State’s ECCD system should be applied and adapted in all local government units;
WHEREAS, the ECCD Plan was submitted to the Sangguniang Bayan, and after considering the integration of all components of the national ECCD system, finds the same to be an effective instrument to attain the development goals and objectives of the Municipality;
AND NOW, THEREFORE, upon the motion of __________________________, seconded by ________________________;
BE IT RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Bayan in the session duly assembled “To approve and adopt the ECCD Plan of the Municipality of Laoang, Northern Samar.”
