Management summary
The main and most important goal of health care service is to provide care for patients.
The quality of care for health care service should remain adequate by all means.
Economic circumstances, political condition, technological progress, and many other factors influence health care system in one country. For decades, many researches and studies have been conducted to maintain and improve quality of care for patients.
Numbers of health care system reformations also have been done in many countries.
Even though health care should be the priority concern in every country, yet insufficient health care system still exist in many countries especially in poor and developing countries. This bachelor thesis discusses health care system from two different countries ; namely,
Japan and the Netherlands. These countries were chosen because they are good examples of two different sides of the world and have significant differences in their health care systems. Indeed, these differences are interesting to compare characteristics in the health care system, and thus arise the best health care for the people.
After comparing and pointing out the strong points and the weaknesses of the two health care systems, the best health care system for patients if formed. This system contains the demand driven system of which is focusing on the patient’s need, without long waiting times and short stay in hospitals care. In addition, freedom to choose
