Haylea Day: Reflective Narrative
Gratefulness and initiative are two prevailing qualities authentically exemplified by Wilson High School senior, Haylea Day. She has displayed these in the classroom and also on the volleyball court. For the past six years, it has been my pleasure to have had Haylea as both a student and volleyball player. Within those years, she has grown into a confident, mature young lady whom others benefit from when spending time with her.
Gratefulness. Being a coach has its ups and downs. There are wins and there are losses. There are moments when a coach feels confident and other times when a coach may feel insecure about his/her impact on the team or individual players.     College sports are very fun to watch when they come on. Especially when the games or events are at the decisive moments. Me personally I love to watch college volleyball, because it helps me change the way I play.
